Dear Friends of WHR, Happy Thanksgiving Weekend! Counting Blessings & Packing to Go ...
We have been pretty quiet this past summer as far as updates, but all's been well, just working on the home ranch and riding the high country, & sharing a few good ones with clients.
AS we mentioned this past spring change is coming and downsizing is happening.... We have bitter & sweet news... we recently closed escrow earlier this month on our SW Outpost Winter location in Cochise after 16 years... but the good part is we are still going south! The new owners, Jeffery & Lorna Roberts of Minnesota, breeders of Rocky Mountain Horses, have been gracious in allowing us to stay this winter and even are open to our return in the future if we choose! We'll see! So, we will be there offering our WHR geldings & FFF Bridle-Horse Horsemanship coaching & lesson services for the 2019-2020 Winter season & also busy selling our equipment and moving the few items we've kept there.
Lord willing, we plan to head south and be on the road the first week of December and get settled in Arizona by the 15th. You can reach us then, by Beverly's cell 520-820-1096 or at the Outpost 520-826-0188.
We're bringing a small group of fine geldings that we are well acquainted with, a few going on a year with us and until these are sold, we are holding off on acquiring any new prospects. There comes a time when you can only do so much, though our love for it is still there! But we'll always keep a good one or two around! You may be lucky to get one with our stamp on it.
A couple of our performance roping/cowhorse geldings we will be offering at Hershberger's Winter Performance Horse sale in Scottsdale, February 28th, 2020. More details on that soon.
We will be available December through mid March in Cochise, with the exception of a couple trips up to Scottsdale & Wickenburg. Give us a call, bring your horse or use ours, come stay, train with us, mentor with Wil, and let us share our special SW desert riding country with you.
Private Coaching Sessions are available by appointment and only a couple School Sessions will be offered in January & February. Better come a' riding...last call! Contact Beverly for details.
