SOLD 2009 Light Sorrel/Dun Compact Cow/Trail Horse, 14 hands, 1075 lbs.

Here is a super, cool little horse with all the "right stuff". At 14 hands, he is so well-proportioned that he looks like a big horse! We have known this horse since he was a two-year old, as he was raised & trained by one of our former student/apprentices, and we are very tickled to have him now that he is of age. He'll only get better the older he gets, as he is already a very confident and grounded individual. He has a nice neck rein and leg aides, turns around, and nice stop. Lil Guy is sired by a son of Royal Fletch NCHA Futurity Champion and out of a Docs Madera mare who was 2012 NRCHA Novice Non Pro Champion. With all this behind him, Lil Guy has the talent to go any direction-- cow horse, roping- heel horse, or just a great outside-using horse. He has been started on cattle and roping, but mostly has had extensive trail miles in rough, rocky Arizona desert and chased wild cattle through the cactu- laden country. Gentle as they come, with big soft kind eyes that reflect his easy nature, nothing rattles him; he handles all obstacles and terrain with ease and willingness. He has no quit and steps out like he's going somewhere. Great for a person who wants to put lots of trail miles on their horse; he's got the heart for it! For a "Mr. Versatile" in a small package, this Lil Guy is it!
