Here is a handsome hunk of a horse! This big gentle giant is a kind-hearted, easy-going guy. Very personable with a friendly disposition. Lou is a solid, cool head for his age, as he has been raised and ranch-ridden in southern Idaho and used for all types of ranch work, from gathering and doctoring to branding. He ropes head or heels in the arena as well, and is quiet in the box. He's been in the hills and can handle a big guy all day. With a huge hip and shoulders and lots of muscle, this big-boned, good-footed gelding is built like a brick house. Lou enjoys trail riding and willingly accepts anything you show him or ride him through. He's got a nice rein and feel about him, carries himself well, and is soft in the bridle. He is an easy loper and steps out nicely. We have been putting our touch on him and he's developing into a very nice handling individual, well broke for any rider. Though on the bigger side, like all our WHR geldings, he too is trained to step up to a mounting block, stump, or rock for easy mounting! For enjoying a big, cowy ranch-using horse or just for pleasure or mountain trail riding, this is one first-class mount for all-around use!
