This is a first class gelding, one of the prettiest buckskins we've ever owned! We've had the pleasure of owning before and thrilled to have him back to resell after he ended up too big for last owner who's is downsizing to a 14 hand horse! Here is a big, gentle, and kind super-traveling all-around seasoned ranch gelding. He's "been there, done that" on the ranch, head or heel and doctored on, knows his job and stays cool-headed in all situations. Really walks out well and can flat cover the country! No hill or steep country will affect his day's performance. He's a kind soul and is a willing partner at work or to cruise the trails with. He rides in the bridle with our signature WHR using neck rein; just point and he goes! Rides as well in town among traffic and crazy obstacles as he does on the ranch or mountain trails. Fun in the arena as well, he has a lovely, collected, easy lope, and is a pretty mover. He loves being ridden and stands still to mount every time, and is also trained like all our WHR geldings to step up on verbal command to a mounting block, bank, rock, log, or whatever to make that jump for the stirrup easier. Big Country is just the kind we all look for, with a disposition anyone can get along with. He's good-boned and dark-footed and has the right paint job...he rides as pretty as he looks!...a hobby horse canter in the arena and a rock pounder on the mountain trails who’ll shine in the ranch roping corral or cowboy dressage arena!
