SOLD  2005  Short, Stout "Muscle Man" Cow Horse Bay AQHA Gelding  14.1 Hands  1200 lbs

This is a royal-bred cowhorse with a big kind eye and full of personality. Woody is sired by Travalena by Doc O Lena, out of a Freckles Playboy Mare. He's a dynamic individual, very handy, yet with a quiet and cool head. Smooth-as-silk gaits and hobby horse arena lope. Woody has been shown in working cowhorse, used on a ranch, gathered on and is well started at heeling. He is very versatile and super fun to ride. He's in the bridle with pretty, easy-to-ride turn arounds, and gets in ground deep with that big hindquarter. This has been Wil's personal horse the past two years, and he really likes this gelding-- everything you could ask for and a heart as big as his hip! Wil has ridden him in Wyoming, the west Tetons, gathered and sorted in the desert and here in the mountains, and kept him for himself. This horse hasn't been hurt; he's an awesome athlete and a top-notch roping or even barrel prospect, the perfect age to haul and get 'er done on. Outstanding down the fence, very powerful big motor yet kind as a kitten, so willing, hog gentle, and greets you at the gate with ears up, ready to go to work for you. Woody is an ideal performance horse who'll teach you!
