Friends,
We're off to Arizona for our 10th
winter down south!
We got hammered with early
snow in Eagle Valley in late November, which hampered
our departure. With a foot of snow that hadn't melted
off, we actually got stuck in our own driveway, despite
the clear highways! But home is not a bad place to be
stuck. There are always reasons to count your
blessings.
We finally got out of Richland last
Friday. We were so ready to leave the northwest and soak
up the warmer Arizona sunshine. The horses are fuzzy and
warm, and we look forward to the drier, warmer climate
to resume riding our "good ones" and prepare for another
season of Horsemanship courses.
The winter storms
did slow up our travel a bit, but we got into the
Tumbleweed OutPost in Cochise today and should be
settled in by the end of the week.
